Proper measurements and alterations are the most important factors in ensuring that your bridesmaids look and feel their best. It is best to allow an Alessandra Bridal consultant to conduct professional measurements on each of your bridesmaids for the best fit. Your bridesmaids do not require an appointment to be professionally measured for sizing and placing their order. Remember that most bridesmaids' gowns run smaller than our everyday clothing. Almost every bridesmaid dress will require alterations upon arrival. Please plan ahead for plenty of time to receive quality, beautiful alterations.
For your out-of-town bridesmaids, we suggest they are professionally measured before submitting their order form to us.
A 60% deposit is required from each bridesmaid to place an order. The remaining balance is due 30 days after the dress arrives to our salon. If you would like alterations done by our seamstress, we ask that your appointment is scheduled 3 to 6 weeks in advance of the wear date. Appointments book quickly, so please call the salon at least 2 weeks prior to your requested appointment time.
In order to have your fitting, the seamstress requires that you have the correct shoes and undergarments with you. If you are purchasing any items from our salon, such as bustier bra cups, you can do so at the time of your fitting. If any of these items are forgotten, the seamstress will have to re-schedule your appointment.
